“ Brand new place. Lots of variety of styles of hot dogs! 1/4 lb plus foot longs! You get chips/pickle and drink. Then, the ice cream! OMG! So many varieties and ways to eat it! No inside dining but they do have a small patio or you can do take out. ”

“ Okay Yelpers, have I got a new one for you... Sammies on 44! If you like dogs, that's their specialty, they do hot dogs just about any way you can think of, along with a few brats and kielbasas. If you're hungry you can still be assured of getting your fill without being stuffed full of bread. Reason? They offer a huge 1/2 lb 'Sammie's belly buster', a '1/4lb Ollie Dog' and of course traditional, deli dogs. All come with chips and a pickle. We had the #8 chili dog and the #10 coleslaw dog. Now to the ice cream. I am not an ice cream fan but I did try it. I tried the Zanzibar chocolate and it was delicious. Rich, creamy and as it turns out... award winning - see pics. Hubby ordered two scoops of the same and was a bit disappointed to see there wasn't any at all between my kids one and his two scoops. I honestly don't think it was relayed to the scooper as a two scoop and it was our fault for not saying anything to correct it. They also carry veterinary approved YoPup frozen ice cream/yoghurt for your furbaby. It's a great all-American concept, especially with just two main dishes, this means they can really focus on making each side of the menu stupendous. However, as of right now, for the prices charged, the dogs were very good but lacking quite a bit on the toppings. We both felt that they needed another spoonful or two. This would have made a huge difference. You might want to ask for more when you get there. The buns can seem a bit dry without them. In all fairness, this is opening day, so there are of course, a few kinks to be worked out. Main ones were the light toppings, junk lying on the ground around the entrance (shelving, garbage etc) and some extremely wonky tables along the side to eat on, (already with legs propped with cardboard to even them out. Once these are all worked out I think it will be a solid 5 stars. We enjoyed it, we wish them all the best on their new venture and we will be back... hopefully to bump up the shiny star ratings. ”
